If I Could Only Keep 7 Books…
One of my worst nighmares would be having to get rid of my entire bookshelf. Luckly, that day most likely wont come, but if it does, these are the 7 books I’d refuse to let go of, in no particular order.
1. Deep End by Ali Hazelwood
Ali Hazelwood is one of my all time favorite authors, so of course she made the list. Deep End has everything I love about her writing. It has sharp banter, emotional depth, and chemistry that jumps off the page. I could reread this one a hundred times and still love it.
2. Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister
When I first read this book it completely blew my mind. I loved how twisty it was and how the time loop elements played in. I would need to keep this for whenever I was in a thriller mood or wanted a twisty read.
3. Summer in the City by Alex Aster
This one is pure sunshine in book form. It just makes me so happy, and I have a signed copy! Its one I could see my self reading over and over.
4. Heartless by Elsie Silver
The perfect small-town romance for whenever I want a cowboy vibe. Elsie Silvers, Chesnut Springs series is one of my favorites, and this book is the star.
5. Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros
Obviously this one had to be here. I stood in line for hours to meet Rebecca Yarros and get this signed. I would never give it up. In addition to holding sentimental value, its also just an amazing read and brings the adventours fantasy element and dragons to my 7 books.
6. A Curse for True Love by Stephanie Garber
The Caraval & Once Upon a Broken Heart series will always hold a special place in my heart, and this finale wrapped it up perfectly. It’s whimsical, romantic, and full of that magical storytelling Garber does best. I couldn’t part with it.
7. Funny Story by Emily Henry
My favorite book by another author who just cant miss, Funny Story is a truly amazing book that I would reccomened to anyone. I absolutely loved it and would be unwilling to part with my copy.
Final Thoughts
Choosing only seven books felt impossible, but these are the ones I know I’d keep reaching for. It made me realize most of my favorite books are romance, and I have a few authors who are extra special to me. It was a fun exercise, but I hope it never comes to fruition, if anything I plan to keep expanding my library.
