7 Book Challenge Ideas
1- A-Z
Pick up a book that starts with A, B, C, etc. until you hit Z. This 26-book challenge is on the harder side due to those hard-to-find letters like X and Z. When I did this challenge, I read XOXO, Cody for the letter X, and Zel for the letter Z. If you wanted to cut down on this challenge you could try just doing vowels, or by spelling out your name!
2- Bingo!
Make your personalized bingo card full of books you want to read or different prompt ideas. Then try to make a BINGO! The fun in this one is you don’t have to read every book, which can be helpful if you are a mood reader, and there are lots of ways to get a bingo. You can make your bingo card as big or small as you want.
3- Taylor Swift
If you are a Taylor Swift fan, this is a challenge for you. While you can see my version, feel free to make it your own or look another one up online. You could do one matching each Era’s color with a book cover, a book that reminds you of your favorite song from each album. The possibilities are endless.
4- Around The World
Read a book that takes place on each continent or read books where the author is from each continent. This is another 7-book challenge, or 6 if you want to leave out Antarctica.
5- Wordy Title
See how high of a word count in the title you can get to. Read a book with a title with one, two, or three words and see how high you can get or set a cap at how many books you want to read for the challenge. When I completed this challenge, I went up to a 6-word title.
6- Rainbow
For this challenge, you read the colors of the rainbow! You could do this in two ways: read a book that has a title colored or read a book that has a cover colored on a theme with each color of the rainbow. This is a simple 7-book challenge.
7- TBR Jar Pull
For this challenge write down all the books you want to read on little pieces of paper and put it in a jar or hat. You pick what books you write down, whether that be your physical tbr, books on KU or however you want to do it. When you are ready to read a book, pull a random paper out and read that book!
