My Most Read Authors of All Time

Julia Quinn: 19 Books, 3.37 avg rating

When He Was Wicked by Julia Quinn

Julia Quinn comes in with a landslide victory, seeing as I have read 8 more of her books than the 2nd place author. Julia Quinn is the author of the Bridgerton series and has a plethora of historical romance novels. She is by far my favorite historical romance author and with so many books to pick from, I am not surprised I have read so many. While the average star rating may be considered a little low for such a beloved author, I believe I have given 2 of her books, The Viscount Who Loved Me, and When He Was Wicked, 5 stars and enjoyed every book I read regardless of the star rating.

Elsie Silver: 11 Books, 3.18 avg rating

Elsie Silver is an author of Canadian cowboy romances. I have read all her releases, except the most recent one. Her newer stuff isn’t as enjoyable to me, but I was addicted to her Chestnut Springs series and enjoyed Goldrush Ranch. I found the age gaps in some of the books to be problematic, and thus the lower average star rating. However, I recommend Elsie Silver to anyone looking for a good cowboy romance.

Ali Hazelwood: 8 Books, 4.13 avg rating

Not In Love by Ali Hazelwood

Ali Hazelwood is a must-buy author for me. I have given all her adult romances 4 or 5 stars, and I have loved everything she has put out. She is an amazing writer, and I have enjoyed both her contemporary and fantasy romances. While some of her work, Bride and Not In Love, aren’t as beloved by the fandom, they are two of the best books I have read. I am super excited about her new release coming up!

Tessa Bailey: 8 Books, 3.88 avg rating

Tessa Bailey is an author I have loved for a long time. I read most of her work that was released between 2020-2023 and enjoyed it a lot. I haven’t made it to some of her newer stuff, but I own the books and am excited to dive in. I have never rated one of her books lower than 3 stars, and two of my favorite books, It Happened One Summer and Unfortunately Yours, are by her.

Stephanie Garber: 7 Books, 4.85 avg rating

Finally, with 7 books we have Stephanie Garber. Of the 7 books she has released, only one was slightly less than 5 stars for me, which was probably more of a me problem. (I tried to read in a loud coffee shop.) Her Caraval and Once Upon a Broken Heart series are two of the best book series I have ever read. She is an incredible author, and I even had the amazing opportunity to meet her in person at a book event. I highly recommend her books to anyone looking for their next 5 star read.
